Text in Russian. 17-1/2 x 11-3/4 in. [Troshin, Nikolai (1897-199?): Well-known designer of posters, books and exhibitions. Studied in VKhUTEMAS, the famous school of Russian avant-garde. Was Lissitzky's co-author in poster design. Exhibited from 1918 (Riazan') with Pasternak; in 1931 (Paris) with Al'tman, Klutsis, Lebedev, Popova (p/h), Rodchenko, Stepanova, Telingater, etc. Was the chief artist of the magazine 'USSR in Construction'].
