Korolev [Koroliov, Korol'ov, Korolyov], Boris Danilovich (1884-1963)
A famous Russian Soviet Avant-garde sculptor (Cubism). Was a professor of sculpture in SVOMAS-VKhUTEMAS. Korolev participated in many exhibitions including the First Russian Art Exhibition in Berlin (1922). Boris Korolev is a highly acclaimed artist. In 1990's the Getty Center (Getty Research Institute), known for its collections of Avant-garde materials such as the Lissitzky's archive, Bauhaus works and others, acquired 133 items from Korolev's archive.
