1st edition. Text in Russian. SC. 9 x 7 in. 35 pp, 13 plates illustrations. On the cover: work by the author (cubism). This important theoretical book of Russian futurism belonged to Vasily Kandinsky and bears his stamp on the front cover (see another picture). This is the address of the famous Kandinsky's apartment in Moscow in penthouse under a round dome at Dolgy pereulok. After Kandinsky this apartment was occupied by Vera Favorsky, then by Vladimir Stenberg. [Shevchenko, Alexandr (1883-1948): Well-known Russian and Soviet avant-garde artist. Studied in Paris and Moscow under Korovin and Serov. Participated at the futurist exhibitions: 'Donkey's Tail', 'Target', 'World of Art', etc. Member of many associations. Professor of VKhUTEMAS, the famous school of Russian avant-garde. Kandinsky Vasily: (1866-1944): probably, the most famous Russian (as well as German) avant-garde artist.]
