Kirnarsky [Kirnarskiy, Kirnarski, Kirnarskii, Kirnarskij], Mark Abramovich (1893-1941)

Soviet graphic artist, book designer. Studied in VKhUTEMAS, the famous school of Russian Avant-garde. Exhibited in 1923 (Petrograd) with Tatlin, Filonov, Chernikhov; in 1927 (Leipzig) with Altman, Lissitzky; in 1928 (Cologne) with Klutsis, Telingater; in 1931 (Paris) with Popova (p/h), Rodchenko, Stepanova, etc.
