Ke-Sha or Proskuriakov [Proskuryakov], Innokenty [Innokentiy, Innokenti, Innokentii, Innokentij] Pavlovich (1901-1960)

KE-SHA or Innokenty Pavlovich Proskuriakov (1901 Krasnoyarsk - 1960 Moscow). Soviet (Russian and Ukrainian) graphic artist, cartoonist. Lived in Ukraine (Kharkov), then in Moscow. Studied from prominent Ukrainian Avant-garde artists Vasyl' Ermilov and Ivan Padalka. Made many posters, caricatures, book illustrations. Exhibited in 1929 (Kharkov, Erevan) with Ermilov, Benois, Grigoriev, Dobuzhinsky, Lebedev, Puni (Pougny), Favorsky, Chekhonin; in 1932 (Moscow) with Deineka, Klutsis, Moor, Stenberg, Cheremnykh, etc. About his artistic activity, participation in exhibitions, etc. please see the pictures.
