Krymov [Krymoff], Nikolay [Nikolai] Petrovich (1884-1958)

A famous Russian and Soviet painter known mostly for his landscapes; theater designer. Represented Symbolism in Russian art. Contributed to numerous exhibitions including "Blue Rose", "Golden Fleece", "World of Art", etc. For his works Krymov received the highest title - People's Artist of the Russian Federation, and was elected as a full member of the Academy of Arts.
