Text in Russian. 5" x 5-1/2" original folder with loosely inserted text and six original etchings, each one with its original tissue paper. Zinc engraved cover; woodcut decoration, also by the artist.
Limited to 75 numbered copies printed by hand, of which fifteen copies were made on Japanese paper. This is a presentation copy number 12 (twelve) warmly inscribed to a famous Russian artist Dmitry Kardovsky. Signed and dated 1925.

Exhibited in 1922 (Berlin) with Archipenko, Chagall, Filonov, Gabo, Lissitzky, Malevich, Puni (Pougny), Rozanova, Tatlin; in 1924 (New York) with Bakst, Dobuzhinsky, Chekhonin; in 1925 (Los Angeles) with Somoff, Vasnetsov; in 1925 (Paris) with Kandinsky, Mayakovsky, Popova, Rodchenko, Stepanova, etc. - Kupreianov (Kupreyanov), Nikolai (1894-1933): Graphic artist, book illustrator. Posters, Agitprop. Member of "4 Arts" (with Kliun, Lissitzky); "OST". Exhibited in 1918 (Petrograd) with Altman, Popova, Puni (Pougny), Chagall, Exter; in 1919 (Petrograd) with Mayakovsky, Rozanova, Filonov; in 1922 (Berlin) with Archipenko, Burliuk, Vesnin, Gabo, Kandinsky, Klutsis, Malevich, Rodchenko, Stenberg, Stepanova, Tatlin, etc. - Masiutin, Vasily !1884-1955): Well-known Russian artist. Graphics, sculpture, bookplates, posters. Participated in Union of Russian Artists, Moscow Fellowship of Artists, etc. Professor of SVOMAS (VkhUTEMAS, the famous school of Russian avant-garde). Studied occultism (Tarot in particular) from V. Schmakov. Emigrated, lived in Germany.
