Text in Russian. Paper mounted on oil-cloth (?). 16-1/2 x 12-1/2 in. Design by Adolf Strakhov (color linocut?). The award was sealed and signed by S. Budionny and K. Voroshilov. Revolutionary War Council awarded Tsibul'sky in commemoration of the first anniversary of the First Cavalry Army. [Budionny and Voroshilov: two the most famous heroes of the Civil War. Semion Budionny (b. 1893) was a commander of the legendary First Cavalry Army (known also for its atrocities). Kliment Voroshilov (b. 1881): a famous Civil War commander, later Defense Minister, one of the closest assistants of Stalin.]
